If a result looks wrong, tell us the calculator, what you entered and what you expected. We check every report against HMRC guidance and fix mistakes the same week.

What to include

The more detail you send, the faster we can check it. Useful things are the page address, the numbers you typed in, which options you chose (for example Scotland, a student loan plan or a pension percentage) and the figure you expected to see. A screenshot of the result helps too. We never need your name, National Insurance number or payslip.

We cannot give personal financial or tax advice. For your own tax position contact HMRC, and for money guidance try MoneyHelper, which is free and backed by the government.
